About
Join Project Bubaloo at American Family Field for The Ultimate Heart Race 5K Run/Walk. Nearly 40,000 infants in the U.S. are born with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) every year. CHD is the most common birth defect and the leading cause of infant death due to birth defects. Project Bubaloo is a Milwaukee-based non-profit with a mission to spread CHD awareness and fund research.
At Project Bubaloo we believe that our CHD community is stronger together. Our goal with this event is to not only support our own mission, but to also collaborate and support other 501c3 CHD advocacy groups. When you sign up for The Ultimate Heart Race, you can participate and fundraise for Project Bubaloo, or you can join one of our collaborative partner's teams and raise money for their specific mission. Please note under the description of these teams they will be identified as a collaborative partner. All collaborative partnerships are approved by Project Bubaloo. All other teams fundraising will support Project Bubaloo's mission.
Can't join us in-person? We have a virtual option for both adults and kids that includes the t-shirt shipping cost!

Family friendly 5K Run/Walk at NEW LOCATION: Greenfield Park
8:45am: Opening Ceremonies + Kid's Fun Run (No registration required!)
9:00am: Runners in front (This is NOT a timed/chipped event) and walkers to follow
10:00am-12:00 After Party

Featuring: music, snacks, bounce houses, glitter tattoos, balloon twister, MKE fire department, CPR demonstration by Project Adam, Marquette College of Nursing Blood Pressure check station, WKP event swag station, Cozy-hearted blankets, and variety of other activities with CHD vendors
Onesie or infant size shirts will be available for purchase day of at the WKP apparel station along with Project Bubaloo merch.
